 These mugs were made by Daphne on the potter's wheel. First 'turned' (shaping the soft clay), then 'turned' (touching up the underside when the clay is a bit harder), the handles shaped and attached, dried, fired, glazed, re-fired and all the while bombarded with some extra love and care.

 The Comfy Mug Scratchy Editions are a tribute to the endearing directness of the carefree scribbles of young artists, inspired by the very first drawings of Daphne's son Isai.
